This birdhouse has been constructed using rough sawn hemlock lumber and features a factory painted black metal roof. The entrance hole is 1 1/2" making it suitable for many birds including blue birds. The aged white color used on the house and the black roof are timeless colors with the deep red recessed accent panel around the entrance hole make this a very attractive house. One that surely the birds will appreciate. There is a removable panel on the back of the house for annual cleaning. It ventilates thru the eaves and small holes in the back.
