This "Duplex" style of birdhouse can be “Customized" for you. Color and decorations are determined by the buyer. The buyer will specify the theme and colorsThis 11 3/4" x 6" birdhouse is made of wood, painted with multiple coats of all purpose acrylic paint, and decoupaged using scrapbook paper and then sealed with varnish. . The completed house is sprayed with Polyurethane. I can also cover/block the hole and/or drill a hole in bottom for mounting on a post. Please note that I do not build the house myself.
SQDesigns birdhouses are meant to be decorative. Birdhouses are suitable for outdoors however it is recommended that your birdhouse be displayed in a shady place with limited exposure to the elements. Due to the nature of the decorations, indoor or patio use is recommended. I can give no guarantees of how long it will last if placed outside. Note: Previous birdhouses I have designed have lasted 2 to 3 years in sheltered conditions.
“Made to Order” birdhouse processing may take from one to three weeks, depending on materials available and number of orders I have. It takes between 3 and 5 days to paint, decoupage, seal, and decorate each birdhouse depending on the size and intricacies of the birdhouse. Each step requires time to dry before the next step can be taken.
SQDesigns4you will happily search for a desired decoration if requested, but be aware that it will add time to processing.
I will send photos of the birdhouse for your approval at these three points: after painting, after decoupage and with ornaments/decorations. Birdhouse will not be shipped until customer has approved the final product.
