Unique Spring clay bird house is a great addition to any garden or apartment patio. Each house has its own number etched in the bottom and is handmade. This house can stand alone or hang up. All of the bird houses are all functioning homes, they all have ventilation holes on the upper back and drainage holes on the lower back. There is no glaze on the inside so the chicks can climb out and no glazed is used on the entrance. This year I was able to test a couple outside for the winter and they have held up great as low as -40 c.
This is bird house is excellent for small birds and will last a life time. Although ideal for nesting in the Spring, you can leave the house up all year to provide additional shelter. If you wish to clean the house the best time is after nesting season in your area (typically Sept. 1 to Jan. 31)
