This bird house is made for wrens, it is made of Cedar wood. It is made to mount on the window. The back has a plexiglass window so you can see inside of it. It measures 8 inches tall by 6 inches wide with a depth of 6 inches. It is assembled with exterior wood glue and 1-3/16 inch brads. It has a 1 inch hole so Wrens can get in and Sparrows stay out. It has a an opening on the base so it can be easily cleaned.

Cedar wood is for exterior use. It will turn grey. If you do not want it to turn gray you can apply an exterior polyurethane with the finish of your choice. It can also be painted with exterior paint.

I recommend leaving it natural. It’s the best way to attract the Wrens to there new home.
